According to Nicholas Perricone, M.D., the pioneering nutritionist and dermatologist (who wrote the book on anti-inflammation eating), you should stay away from certain foods that cause inflammation.  Something that none of us wants is to eat foods accelerate the aging process and that’s exactly what inflammatory foods do. Not sure how to know if something is a pro-inflammatory, here is a simple rule of thumb for Dr. Perricone: If it contains flour, and/or sugar or other sweetener, it will be pro-inflammatory. Sugary, starchy foods are poor choices and will not only pack on excess pounds, they will make you look older than your years.
